Checked the time, logged back in two hours later. Still, i now knew ToD so i asked my Kin the respawn on him, and found out its 2 hours and a half. I missed the claim fair and square, no point in whining. Fine, i cheered him on and killed one of the adds. I asked if he was just after the spells (since he had the earring on) but it turned out he was getting it for a friend who ran in a few seconds later. Came back to find the 75RDM having some trouble with him, but only because he was being whacked by three other Gobs too. I arrived around 5 minutes before he was due to spawn, a RDM came in shortly after, then i left my PC for a few minutes. Seriously, this guy is so easy to kill it's not funny. It's too bad I don't have a use for this! But will save it for 'just in case'. I'd reccomend camping with THF and ~100% full moon. Great to camp, and I've found him up more often than not farming down there. Killed once more the following day and didn't get earing but did get a very large gil drop (9K+ IIRC).

Kept farming, just before he was due to pop again someone came in to camp so i helped him as I had earing and ThunderIV already, popped, killed, earing. I 2-HR'd to reset timer and SC's took him to ~10% when he decided to MF. HP'd, came back and was stupid easy this time. I should have attacked again to inerrupt Tornado, key mistake. I was 67SAM/THF so I pulled to not link, but he decided to Tornado me, wich did well over 1100 dmg. Was back in LoO to level up NPC and farm. When he popped, he seemed tough to me at the time, as I was but a 55SAM/THF. I helped a friend kill him when he killed the bird for my SAM AF. Just wanted to post up my results with this guy.
